Do not launch anywhere near the whale viewing platforms. At this time a fixed launch point does not exist. If you find a safe, acceptable (to the owner) launch, please notify the VHPA

From here is should be possible to fly the cliffs East of Logans Beach. It may even be possible to fly the entire 34km back to Flaxmans Hill. This has never been achieved before.

Whales and associated tourist aircraft during the winter months July through September.
